I had this coral in my nano reef years ago still looking on line and at my LFS for it, dont know the name and when I bought it the guy at the store had no idea, not a good way to buy coral but it was only 10.00
Looks like a branching flower pot to me. Not sure of the "real name". I would stear clear of it since it does not have a good track record of survival.
Yeah, not flowerpot (goniopora) which have 24 tentacles for each polyp. Yours is definitely alveopora because of the 12 tentacles present. Alveopora doesn't seem to be as sensitive as the related goniopora. But I would start here: http://www.wetwebmedia.com/poritididfaqs.htm
