I'm typing away on my laptop and i see a puff of smoke. Next thing I know, my power cord catches on fire! Thank god I didnt sleep early today!:irked:

There were known issues..

Guys,
There were known issues with some laptop batteries overheating. There was a recall issued (so you can't sue if your laptop was recalled). I don't remember exactly, but I think the brands affected were Toshiba and Sony.
You need to google-up your model to see if the battery/laptop/charger were recalled. Then you can probably get a replacement or something.
