What to use for bare ballast enclosure?

Ok, I wanted to enclose my ballasts in either a large box or individual boxes. They are just raw ballasts (no box). What should I use to do this with?

Can I just use junction boxes found in hardware stores?

sure, you can use junction boxes, or if your HD has them, they also make transformer boxes- vented, and sometimes pre-drilled for fans...I've also seen people use an old PC carcass- rip out the mobo, bolt the ballasts into the frame, and use the power supply to power the cooling fans...

A transformer box sounds to be the perfect thing. Home depot over here has job boxes, which are basically junction boxes but they only go up to 4 inches high. Do you know where else I could possibly find them?

The computer thing could be a possibility. I think I have a case around somewhere...
