what's the difference..175MH TO A 250 watt MH?

right now i have 2 175 watt MH'S and was wondering what the difference was in electricity with the 250's

kool, i have 2 175's on my 75 gal now and wasen't sure if i should use them with my 110 gal or go with 250's, do you know how much more in money difference that would be on the elec. bill.

Five more total. The wattage of the bulb depends on the kind of corals you want to keep in relation to how deep the tank is. If your 110 is 24" deep and you want to keep SPS corals then I would recommend 250s. If you like softies and other low light corals then 175s will be fine.

mostly softies is what i have now, i have 3 clams that do very well now, thats about it.
