I've gotten this frag now for about 2 weeks. The first picture is the 1st day and the 2nd picture is from today. There are some new polyps growing on the white base but what is wrong with it? And why is it white?

There are some growth since it grew over the plug already. Should I be worried?

Usually the tips may sport white colored tips which is an indication of rapid growth or energy/metabolism concentrated on growth but I've never seen where the base is white.
The ORA Red Planets normally have a green base which will be eventually obscured by the red coralites.
