Where should I buy Live Sand?

I've been buying so called live sand which is nothing but aragonite in a bag of water from caribsea and was wondering where I could obtain real live sand. I was going to collect some from the beach near me but it's coldwater and the critters and live animals in it would probably die and pollute the tank when I lift the temperature for my reef.
