hey guys, i got a quick question...
where should i place my 2 tunze 6100's and what setting should i use for optimal flow...

at the moment there both on the back glass pointed towards the side middle front of the tank...

from what i was thinking of I have 2 options...

1. place one tunze on the front top corner glass of the tank and leave the one on the back glass right corner...

2. cut a square into the side of the wood were it would do 2 things give me a view from the side and i could place the tunze there instead without obstructing any view from the front...

any suggestions or ideas for optimal flow would be greatly appreciated ;)...

TIA....

I think were they are now is fine Tony. Until your coral grows high and into the path of the tunze pointing them into the middle is cool.
I have mine on the sides pointed straight along the back at the overflow in the middle. that takes care of dead spots and creates a lot of chaotic flow as it bounces off the overflow. I also have a vortech pointed down the left front of the tank, plus the return going the same way.

T,

For optimal flow and good brain cleaning to realize there's no Optimal flow, stick one tunze in your left ear and one in your right. Plug them in and let them run for a few hours. When those few hours pass, put them back into the tank as you had them and you'll have great flow:teeth:.

Now either that was just really stupid of me to say and people are gonna start lookin at me funny or it was actually funny. I just woke up so I'm not really sure, but I'm gonna post it anyways.
