Where to buy egg crate in manhattan

Anyone know of a place to buy egg crate in manhattan? preferably village area.

I have them in Brooklyn 7th Ave & 47th Street. How many do you need? They come in 2' x 4'

I think Lighting Plus on B'way and 8th(?) has it. It's also called "Light difuser" for suspended cielings.

You could also try Metropolotan lumber on spring.

Home depot is the cheapest I know there is one on 59th and 3rd but not too sure if there's one downtown.

I tried home depot on 23rd and 6th. they said to go to one of their brooklyn locations.

I did not find any in Brooklyn Home Depot MANY TIMES I was there. BTW I think the Home Depot in Brooklyn is the worst of all. I did find some in Staten Island last time I was there.

You need to go to the section where they sell drop ceiling tiles. It is actually called light difuser, and you may need to describe it to them. It will be buried on a shelf more than likely, and they will not even know they have it.

It took me a LONG time to find it in the Home Depot in Yonkers. Finally found it and the box was covered in a lot of dust.

I am unearthing this thread, as I was looking for some.

Nuthouse Hardware on 29th street and 3rd avenue carry it! Love that place: family owned, they carry a ton of references, and they are opened 24 hours.

I've gotten it at Home Depot and Lowes. Its not always in the drop ceiling section. Sometimes it is in the fluorescent tube fixture section. It's with the commercial fixtures not the residential, pretty, fixtures. It is however always in a box covered in dust, often behind other stuff.
