I'm buying a camera to buy fish tank pictures. I am in the business so I kinda need it. Budget is around 1,000... Any recoms? I was looking into buying one of the higher rated ones but was curious if aquarium pictures might have different needs?

Thanks,
Bill

I think you would do fine with a nikon D series . I have a d5200 (24mp) and as long as I set it to macro and balance the white glare from the sand , I get great pics and it's all around a great camera for the price $750 or so , but for a bit more ( around $879) b&h photo has it with the upgraded lens - 18-140mm , a spare battery, a nice carrying case , and a 16 gb card so your ready to go!! I upgraded my card to a 600x 32gb uhs1 card and it makes the camera fire around 60 shots in 15 seconds , great all around camera , just check it out on you tube and see for yourself .
