Hey, so I'm looking to stock my bar and so far only found master of malts.com as a place that sells samples of nice quality stuff. I want samples first so I can try drinks out before shelling bigger bucks for 750ml worth.

However, being that they are UK based, the shipping price is 32$. Not bad at all, but my cart has like 13 30ml bottles in it and is coming to $180. For that shipping price, I could get a few more drams locally!

So, anyone know either a brick and mortar store or more local online company with lower shipping rates?

If not I'll just order from master but will have to be more thoughtful about the samples I order.

Try checking out total wine they have a website and a few locations in jersey fairly cheap prices.

Wow my 12 pack is 11 bucks of new castle brown ale. I usually pay 15-16 bucks per 12 pack.... They have pretty good prices.

Even santa magherita pinot grigio wine is $19.00, I pay $27.00 by me.

if you mean total wine yeah they are cheap and the store in river edge is huge is about the size of a shop rite

Are these places that sell liqour in sample sizes?

I'll google total wone to see if they have samples.

I know of discount stores for beer, wine, and regular liqour, but I'm looking for a place that sells 30ml samples of 10 to 30 year whiskeys, etc. The stuff only aficionados keep.

Where the full bottle may cost over 300 $

Better bet, hit local establishment up for a drink, on way home overspend on the tank and blame on the alcohol!
I have never seen a liquor store sells samples. Pretty cool idea
Total wine is a huge store and bottle king worth shot ( not sure of your area)

only samples ive seen are basically the airplane bottles which I think are a oz

Just ask a local bar if you can purchase their empty bottles of 'expensive' brands...fill them with the cheap stuff (just like they do)...99% of the people won't know the difference!

I'll just see if any of my friends want to make orders to split shipping!

I also just bought a ticket to the Caskers event in NYC. I get to try unlimited samples from 20 diff distilleries and get live cocktail making advice.
It's all tomorrow 7:30-10.
Should be fun!!!
