it looks like white sand particles all over my side walls, it's gotten worse over the past few days, any ideas on what this could be, 92 gallon tank with about 100lbs live rock, been set up for about 2 months

without posting pics, it will be difficult for us to say what's going on - but as the algae grows on your glass, very very small animals that you would not otherwise see will come onto the glass to graze on the algae that is growing there. Alternatively, if you have snails, as was suggested, one may have laid eggs. Most likely, it is not a bad thing - look at them closely and see if they are moving. They are probably really fine and come from your live rock.

More than likely they are little tiny feather dusters. They are a natural part of the evolution of a new tank. They will vanish after a while, but you can scrape them off it they are bothering you.

Here is a close up pic of what they actually look like...grab a magnifying glass and look for yourself :)
