Who has potters wrasses???

I had 2 potters wrasses eating mysis just disappear

Anyone have them long term???

Matt I have a few Leopards, but not a Potters. I have heard that the Potters and Chaoti are among the more difficult to acclimate. I've been looking for one. I think Charlie ( CharlietheTuna) has one give him a PM

I have one.ive had him for over a year. he actually is a great eater even taking pellets.....the tamarins I have are a little pickyer thean him .do u have a good deep sand bed cause thats a must .

No Matt I had one before for a few months he was doing great then messed his mouth up I had a shallower sand bed he must have hit the glass and broke his jaw that's a very common problem with any of the leapord wrasses. Once that happens they cannot eat any more

I got mine from Manhattan aquariums I think andy over at aquarium village can get them for you you may have to prepay and order.they come from Hawaii

Also with any leapird or tamrin I found they like mysis over brine shrimp .u will see them take the brine the spit it out the mysis they deshell them and spit the shells out alot cool to watch .def wont take pellets for a long time .they may never take pellets .also if u have any annyoning wrassesblike a malinarus forget them they dont take well to getting picked on they will hide till they die in the sand bed

Thanks I think that was the problem with my direst 2 they where eating mysis but my female melanuraus started chasing them they just disappeared
I've since removed the mel.....
