Why Do Orange Toadfish Do That?

My Orange Toadfish (Ops**** beta) has been living in his little hole for 2 months and just comes out to eat shrimp. 2 days ago, my little Bicolor Angel poked his nose in the hole. He is way too big for the Toadfish to eat. But now the Angel is dead and the Toadfish moved into his hole under the coral. I think he zapped the Angefish. It stll looked alive when I found him.

The Toadfish has little venom spikes on his gill covers. He apparently gave the Angelfish the kss of death.
