Each time it goes off, the mechanism must be replaced, but I think it's only like $100 for the replacement. Defi worth it if you are worried you or someone else may use the saw in a less than careful way.

yea did you notice he dipped his hand on a cooler full of water..what if your finger isn't wet? I'm guessing it doesn't work lol

I lost my thumb and they had to reattach it, I would say this is one great invention, If it gets patented I would not hesitate to get it.

the cooler of ice water was to constrict the blood vessels in the hand to limit blood flow to the capilaries incse it did cut him the bleeding would be minimal and would have a higher rate of sucess with either being reattached or stopping the bleeding.. im sure it was part of the medical clearance needed to do it..

as an EMT who has looked for delimbed body parts i think this is great... its never good to have someone on a scene holding up body parts asking "u want a wing, or a leg?" lol
