will frogspawn host clownfish

i have a pair of mated clowns. have heard frogspawn is much easier than anemone.to raise, also the sting is much less ( always afraid my 3 year old will stick his hand in.) anyone have personal expeirence and which frogspawn are the easiest to raise. have a 40 g breeder with pc lights

Yes a frogspawn is a good substitute for an anemone. My clowns immediately tried to host the frogspawn I placed in the tank about a month ago but one of the clowns never developed immunity to it so they decided to host a yuma instead.

yes..my two clowns are hosting my frogspawn. i had a rbta, they prefer the frogspawn

Clowns are funny they can host anything. I seen some host mushrooms and others host pumps.
