Worm of some kind-Friend or Foe!

Found this strange worm tonight when the lights were out and I have no idea what it is. A little under 1/4" in diameter but thinner when stretched out. Retracts when the light is on it but I saw it stretched at least 3". When it finds food (I guess) these tentacles or whatever come out. No idea if this is good or bad. If bad, how do I get rid of it. Any info would be appreciated.

PS-I'm aware of my hair algae issue : )

Looks like Sipunculan or Peanut worm.
