Wrasse

I had a leak in my tank and transfered over whatever I was keeping to a new tank. I got the wrasse over to the tank witn no problem, caught him quick, didnt hurt him or anything and now I see this.......any ideas? best pic i could get as he never stops moving

He could have bumped into a coral that stings or a rock while all of the coral/fish moving was going on?
If it looks a little better each day, I wouldn't worry too much.

Like kathy said he could have gotten a lil crazy and bumped into something either a piece of rock or a coral that stung him I would add a little garlic extract to your food to help boost his immune system. It will help prevent against possible infections.

The wound doesn't look like its getting any better, worse actually what could I do?

Remove it to a hospital tank and treat with either mela fix. I have used it in the past and it worked nicely.

One problem.....I dont have a hospital tank....i know...i know....

unfortunately the wrasse died last night, really sux though was my first salt water fish ever.
