WTB 48" VHO bulb New or Used

UV Actinic has been on backorder for a month.

I need this 4th bulb to test the fixture I made, it turns on, I mean test its effects on the tank to see if I stick with VHO or buy a T5 48" fixture.

If you have a brand new UV VHO actinic 50/50 bulb I will buy it, will need to see proof that its new, inspection and receipt.

If you have any USED VHO bulb full lenght 48" bulb I will buy it from you, just need it to make all 4 ballast channels functional.

USED OR NEW.

NEW has to be UV 50/50.

USED can be any spectrum.

Bumpppppp, it will be at least 2 weeks before retailers have UV actinic back in stock, I spoke to UV today, phosphor supply issue.

ANYONE HAVE A USED 48" VHO BULB COLLECTING DUST? LOAN IT OUT OR SELL IT TO ME FOR A FEW BUCKS, ITS LIFE HAS PASSSSSSEDDDDDD....

I have 3 new, just need the 4th to make the entire fixture functional until actinic is back in stock.

I'm sure that I have quite a few used VHOs, that I could give you...but IMO you're better off buying a new VHO bulb, that can be a replacement when the others wear out! (unless you're running all 50/50s)

to be honest I have no idea on VHO's, only time i used them was as supplement to MH's and changed them like once a year.

I have 2 blue's, one sun light and the actinic that is on back order. I was not even sure on the spectrums to use, T5's was easy, purple and blue, i still don't know which VHO combo will give me a bit of flourescense while still providing the right spectrum for photo....

Why do you suggest I not mix a used bulb with 3 new bulbs?

not saying that...just saying if you're gonna have to pay for a used bulb, or drive any distance to get it...you'd be better off buying a new bulb, locally.

I believe that the 46.5" 'space saver' VHO is still 110w, same as 48"

Actually just checked again, they are indeed 48". Brand new, never taken out of packaging. Only issue is that they aren't 50/50. I have 2 super actinic and 2 10,000k. Receipt from hello lights, all bulbs in original shipping box.
I will let them go cheap if you are interested. PM me if so!

I basically did what you suggested and went ahead and purchased extra bulbs that were in stock, not here yet but will arrive a lot sooner than the popular out of stock bulbs.
