I need 6 packs ASAP. I just realized that my heat packs are not temp controlled and will boil my corals lol. If someone can hook me up I would really appreciate it. I will pay for them and if you need replacements I will have more in a few days, but need to ship boxes tomorrow.

Call or text if possible

thanks,
Rich

Its not the amount of hours, its the highest temperature it reaches.
The heat pack for your hands get very hot, like 180F or so
There are heat packs for shipping fish which will get ~100F or so. Its still a little above what you want your fish to be, so thats why shippers usually wrap the heat pack in newspaper or paper towels, so let the heat diffuse more slower. They also usually put the heat pack on the underside of the styrofoam covers so a bag isn't leaning on the heatpack and get too hot and its the ambient temperature that is warming up the bags

I still managed to boil frags even with the 30hr fish and reptile heat packs. Shipping is a pain. I have 1" insulated boxes from uline that hold heat very well. I'm going to start shipping with no heat packs. Actually, I just lost $1230 trying to ship corals yesterday, so I am not shipping for a long long time!

If you plan to try it again, maybe test it out first with a styrofoam box of bags, with each bag half filled with water (fake frags) and put 1+ real inexpensive test frag in 1 of the bags. Then leave the box in the trunk of a car or basement to simulate a warehouse. Wait 24-36 hours (overnight delivery) and see the frag is doing in the end.

30 hr I think is better. It really depends on the size of the box and thickness of styrofoam. I have 1" thick line shippers with a very small inside diameter (outside diameter). These boxes will boil frags with one of these heat packs.
