WTB - Mesh screen tank covers.

Looking for someone to sell/make a clear mesh screen for the top of a DB 120g tank.

I have the clear mesh, just need someone to do the rest. I am awful at doing stuff like that.

Its really easy if you have or know someone with a saw to cut the edges. If you want directions let me know otherwise GL. I would but Im too far from you right now.

Bulkreefsupply.com had a great "kit" for mesh covers, and "KathyC" makes an amazing cover!!!

I'm the lamest person in the world when it comes to this kinda stuff but even I could assemble a nice screen with the BRS kit. I bought a $5 hack saw from HD to cut the frame.

Bring the mesh to a window company with your measurements and have them make it. Easiest avenue to take.

try contacting kathyc., if she has time, she might make you one. she can make with or without the frame. she made me one that i can velcro to the tank....no frame.
she didn't charge much.

couldn't find 1/4 black mesh if anyone knows where to get it. BRS is too expensive I feel where is the clear mesh available?

Contact "kathyc"!!!! She did a great job making me a cover. Her cover was one of the best investments i made in my tank!!!

Haveing a soft rim (like kathyc does) allows you to bend up a single corner or area...a great ability to have when feeding or adding a single coral.

I'd be interested to see a picture of them if you or anyone has one to share. These were the only kind I had seen before so went with it.

i provided her with measurements and the mesh from brs, she bought the velcro and sewn them together.

Im going to have to get one of those for my new tank build since its rimless. I will just put some velcro on the corners.

i think that will be tougher on a rimless....there's no room for the other part of the hook/loop velcro system. if you bend the velcro down, then it looks like you have a black rim....defeats the "rimless look".

thirty5 did a mesh screen over his rimless 75, can't remember how he did it but there was no frame.....try checking his build thread, perhaps he mentioned it somewhere in there?
