my PS3 is no longer recognizing any disc wanted to know does any one know how to fix it? or looking for a good deal on a used one LMK

i know there is a way to restore it, ive read about it a few times online....maybe try a google search...or see if maybe the disk reader needs to be cleaned

i had the same problem about 2 wks ago. I opened my ps3 and clean the blue ray lens with alcohol and qtip. everything works good now.

You can replace the lens. youtube it. I had the issue but ended up selling it to someone who fixes it which did that fix. I had another friend selling his modded xbox and picked it up for the price I sold the ps3.

I might end up selling my PS3 slim since I don't play it but it is like new and played it probably a total of 3-4 hours.
