WTB: Rubbermaid stock tank

Wondering if anyone has a used one of these for sale. looking for 50g or 100g. Wanna use it as a live rock tank. Preferably local 5 boroughs.

So I posted this thread looking for a stock tank and and some one posted they were selling one then someone else used my thread to contact the person and bought it before me rather than waiting in line! wow! Glad I could help you out whoever it was... Very noble of you! awesome!

No not u thirty 6. And I appreciate the heads up. But I dont blame the seller. I just can't believe someone would contact a post from someone elses "want to buy" thread to steal a good deal! What's the point of making these threads if people are just gonna poach it?!! Last time I go public about needing something...

I have a square tub i used as a sump for my shop. Its not rubber maid and if you plan on filling it with water near the rim I suggest bracing it. Let me know if your interested..

I really feel bad about not giving Jon a little longer to respond before selling mine. And I understand why he is very annoyed with the situation -- I would be, too.

Jon, I don't think you should never again post a WTB thread, but I think in the future you should state "please PM me if you have one, do not post to this thread."

Again, sorry this happened. I'm going to contact the buyer and see if he intends to keep it after using it as temporary quarters for his livestock while setting up his new tank. If not, we may still be able to rectify this situation.

I was the guy pmed & text George about the stock once I saw it for sale. I didnt think it was a big deal. Sorry if Ihad offended you or made you upset. As George posted I had purchased this tank with intentions to temporary use it as a holding tank. I will have no longer have use for it once the transfer is complete so If you would like to purchase it from me in 1 week that is fine. $60.00 and its yours. You can pm me if your interested. Whew! I'm feeling a lot better about this mess right now.

Jon, I hope this solution works for you. You didn't seem like you were in a great hurry for it. You said you needed it to cycle rock? That's exactly what I used it for, too. If you need any ammonium chloride for doing a "fishless cycle," just stop by my house when you come out here for the stock tank, I have way more than I'll ever need.
