im telling you talk to wesley he could probably pick you out a nice one...the ones i had were young when bought so still sort of orange with less black but now they're starting to color up nicely

thanks for your input. I'd rather not drive cause I'm hopeful I can find one nearby. It's a not a special rare fish lol.. just a true perc

Go to Aquatic Obsession they had like 7 true perc in there last time I went in and a few dozen false perc, it's not that hard to find really.

thats understandable but IMO it would be best option because i rarely see true percs go for less than $25 and usually closer to the $30ish range. which i would justify the cost of gas considering wesley has really cheap prices and also he breeds clowns regularly so hes a bit of an expert and has very very healthy fish...but as i said earlier if you personally speak to him he may be willing to meet up closer...he met me half way from the bronx about and i was pleased with the handling and quality of the fish...ps bring a larger container because wesley likes to put a lot of water in the bags to keep the fish from getting cold lol
but if you choos to go another route i'll keep my eyes open for other people
