I have had my yellow tang for about a month now, hes about 3", for a while he was only fish in the tank besides my 1" golden headed sleeper goby, and 2 small occys. He would fly around the tank and eat like a pig. About a week and a half ago, I bought a trio of lyretail anthias, they are doing fantastic, however ever since I added them to my tank, the tang had become withdrawn from the community. The anthias never bullied my tang. The tang would hang out in a back corner behind my rocks, he wouldnt come out to feed or do anything, I tried target feeding to no avail. I figured he was a goner. However, today was the first time he was out since I added my anthias, I have no idea what he was eating. However, I realized he wouldnt even flinch when I approached the tang, and he seemed to be swimming aimlessly. It was then that I realized he couldnt see anything, he just bumps into rocks and the tank and doesnt really swim high...why has he gone blind? I tried blasting him in the face with food and he doesn't really eat alot of it. Can I expect to be able to keep him alive? Has this happened to anyone else? I have a 90g tank, params are normal, the tang has no ich, and looks just as yellow and vibrant as always. His eyes look fine also...
