Zebra barred dartfish

What are some opinions and experiences you guys have had with these fish? I found a really nice pair for a very good price, and I would hate to pass this up. Thanks!

I have 5 in my tank, they usually swim together, and when 1 shoots into his cave, they all shoot into the cave! I recommend them, but your tank must be covered...I think they were about $10 each at Maximum Reefs

You'll need something to cover like top or netting or don't think you'll be able to keep them for a long time. I had 2...

They should be pretty easy and eat prepared.

Great mid to high open water fish, very hardy. They do better in small groups, if you can get more than a pair (say around 4-5) that would be ideal if your tank can handle it. As has been said make sure you've got a tight lid, like all dart fish they can and will jump.

Thanks for the advice all! I can only get a pair(for now) would I be able to add a couple more at a later time? If I do two now an two another time ?

Shouldn't be a problem, I started with 3, and later added 2 smaller Zebras... They were immediately accepted into the group....I may add a few more

i think odd numbers are usually best in groups for some reason
