Hi Guys,

from the looks of my salt creep on the bottom front of my tank I'm realizing that I have a slow leak and need to replace the tank. I'm not looking to upgrade anything other than the tank and possibly a stand. But I want to keep the 36" dimensions so I won't have to replace the lights. I'll buy RR or not RR, new or in very good condition and most importantly one with no leaks. Also, if anyone could suggest the best retail place to buy a tank I'd be very appreciative. Any and all suggestions, comments, etc are welcome.

But I have other issues: I've had 5 back surgeries since I've started this tank. I'm currently disabled from my back injury. I live in Manhattan without a car and I'm in a 5th floor walk-up apartment. So besides giving-up completely, what would you do?

Sorry for the TMI but I'd love your feedback.

Cheers,
Jay

This happens occasionally on my tank, but only after I do maintenance.. In my case, it's from water dripping slowly over the top of the tank while splashing around.. even in small doses this can be the case. I'd check for that first.

Thanks for the feedback. I hope that's the case with my tank. But it seems to be accumulating much more than I've ever seen before. I've had the tank for 4 years and it was used. Luckily, the leak is very slow for now.
