I?m looking to get in the next week or two, Harlequin Shrimp for my 110G tank, what store in Brooklyn or the city has them in stock or if someone wants to sell me one or two.
My tank has Asterina & it?s getting bad

An update:

Do I have to get for my 110G a pair of Harlequin Shrimp or one will be good as well?
My tank is full with Asterina starfish, I had them for the past year but the past month they are just multiplying like crazy!!!! & they are definitely responsible for the loss of most of my coralline allege.
I got one yesterday from the new store in Brooklyn Diamonds of the Reef nice store, check it out!!!!

Have you ever had them?? It?s impossible to take them out one by one I have done that, they multiply like crazy. One thing I will tell you is that they cleaned my rock from green algae, but at the same time they eat the purple coraline algae, so it?s time for them to go

I've had them and so has every other reefer.
Remove them with a small net. I usually remove them late at night or early am when they come out to feed.
You can probably get 90% of them our of your whole tank over a period of 3 days.

Don't get me wrong but to get ride of these by net is never ending story, how big is your tank? How many pounds of live rock you have? My harlequins eat almost all of them in about one month but they working so hard and walking all over the aquascaping day and night, you are not able to get them from small holes or from under the rock, not all of the starfish you can see on the glass...
Harlequin shrimp is about $20 or so and will do this job just perfect.
But this is only my 2 cents.

Is it possible that you will completely remove them... no.
Because yes they are hiding all over the place in and on rock. Even the harlequin will not be able to remove all asterinas. Can you cull them? Absolutely. I did this without adding any harlequin and was starfish free for several months until introducing new frags into the system. When I found one or two I removed them. It's just about the tenacity of wanting to maintain your tank.

Also... here is your issue of adding critters to remove other critters... you add on an extra expense trying to get rid of one, then you go adding another issue. Like adding a copperband to remove aptasia... sure there is the possibility that it will remove them... then the added of will they end up eating polyps? The harlequin eats starfish... that is its diet. when it's out of food it will die, or you also need to add in starfish just to satisfy it's diet. Then when no one/store is bringing any starfish in... you run into an issue.

my 2?
