lol

the savings will be in orders going forward I guess and free shipping since I always order $225 or more.

I am sure I will place another order at some point in 2013, their no hassle two week guarantee is the absolute best.

Hoping someone is sitting on a coupon that otherwise would go to waste.

order wont be packed until Monday, I can still call and have them apply a coupon to this order.

nice and they want you to order again instead of saving. haha

bartlett anthias
lyretail male & 3 females
red sea sailfin tang
clown tang
reef chromis
cardinals

that's a lot of fish to add at once...do you have a large QT?...
is this still the 120g in your tank thread?
If you still have those other tangs, the clown tang may be a problem

Yeah, I learned my lesson. I have 3 small tanks for QT, a large one and then 2 for meds if needed and yes still the 120g.

Been shopping around for a 210g to 300g but I dont see it happening anytime soon, even used prices are out of my reach in 2013, patience I guess.

Tank has been 0 phosphates and 0 nitrates for a long time now, last time I changed water was after storm Sandy.

Have an emperor in there and only corals he bothered were elegance coral, open brain and xenia which is basically weeds. Elegance and brain have been in sump for 3 months now I think.

My biggest challenge is going to be ich on our current hippo tang. Last year despite QT of several weeks with all new fish darn hippo caught ich 3 times, every time I added new fish that I had in qt, overly sensitive hippo.

I thought about the clown but could not resist, you may see me selling him at a discount, who knows, I have to at least try.

Current stock list in tank is:
hippo tang
purple tang
yellow tang
powder blue tang
female anthias
flame angel
emperor angel
red scooter
mandarin
engineer gobies
blue chromis
butterfly

I know, I know, I know, too many fish, too small of a tank but it has been like that for a year now, I feed and over feed. Only lost a few corals in a year and that was due to my lazyness, metallic frogspawns to be exact, they tipped over and eventually engineer gobies covered them in sand.

A few fish have died but its to be expected. I had 8 chromis and only 1 is still alive, 2 purple firefish disappeared (green serpent for sure), Male anthias was well for like 6 months and then one day became a sissy and the female bullied him into starvation and the bartlett anthias I had died like 2 or 3 months ago. Nothing expensive has died.

This time around I plan on adding the fish one at a time after 3 or 4 weeks of QT, probably one fish per week, maybe even every two weeks. I dont want to have to net that hippo again.

IMO...multiple chromis, firefish and certain anthias will pick each other off!

Nothing expensive has died.
then try to buy only expensive fish!

You may be on to something, I have been trying to follow the literature on schooling fish such as chromis and anthias but I think you are most likely 100% correct.

This will be the last time I attempt more than 1 anthias and more than 1 chromis.

and HA HA HA on the expensive fish joke, I would loveeeee to have an achilles, a black tang, a hybrid tang of some sort like yellow tang mixed with something or even a chevron.

Maybe next time I replenish the tank I will drop $200 on just a single fish. It's just so appealing to get 5 fish for $200 instead. lol
