WTB pods in NJ

Hi guys. I need pods!! My mandarin is looking skinny!! He came from my 110 which was stocked w pods...now he's in my 14g w hardly any pods. anyone in NJ selling or know where I can get pods? Should I just get the reef nutrition Tigger pods??

How do you keep pods stocked in an aquarium stupid question I know but do you keep buying or do they eventually bred in the tank

If you have a well developed fuge they grow like cray

Hmmmm now on the middle of a tank build/upgrade set up how can I add one

If you give the pods a safe place to live without predation, they will breed readily. I suggest making a small pile of rock rubble in a calm portion of your sump or fuge and add them there. They should do pretty well establishing themselves. Keep in mind that if you add them to your display tank and have a mandarin, they will get eaten quickly and will not be able to reproduce fast enough to replace what has been eaten.

Can a regular hang on filter like Whisper or aqua clear be a hang on fuge? Since I don't have a sump and want the pods to breed

Yes it can. I used one on a 10 gal I had set up in Florida. I used a aquaclear 50. In gutted it and glued a piece of plastic mesh by the return so nothing would flow out. I filled it with rock rubble and got a lil clip on led light. It worked great
