The profit margins on Apex products are very slim and it is all map priced so you won't see it advertised for less. About twice a year (black friday being one of them) they authorize a sale which comes out of the vendors profits. So best bet is to wait for a sale or perhaps inquire with a lfs but then you have sales tax so Id wait and shop online.

Sounds good i have a apex for a while very happy a friend saw my tank and liked the apex features allot so he asked me to ask and see where he can get one thanks really appreciate your help

what he said. As much as i like to support the local stores, on big purchases like an apex, its just much smarter to find a site online you wont pay taxes with and use that. You will save about $70 for a new apex in taxes and that money wouldnt have gone to the LFS anyway. It would have went to the govnit

Yea i was speaking to some lfs and that's what they were telling me
