Chocolate star reef safe?

Chocolate reef stars are considered not reef safe. I have one and other stars that never bother anything. I would not worry placing a chocolate chip in a reef tank.

you can keep ht cc in the sump and cut one leg off at a time and feed the shrimp that. but most likely if you put the whole cc star in the shrimp will find it before it does any damage

i bought one CC star but like how often would harley need to eat? he only has so many legs. I currently have it in a separate biocube from my DT. trying to breed asterina

Put the whole star in the tank near the shrimp(s). The shrimps sting it and basically paralyze the star and slowly eat it. My shrimps eat daily.
