Sorry to be a downer but I would not recommend one. you can have my old broken XF280 which lasted about maybe 2 years. :(
It’s just my experience, but I had way too many problems with this unit to ever get another. It was a nice flow when it worked but too temperamental and not long lasting enough.

So initially I had small snails that destroyed it... the fins just exploded. I got rid of the snails. To be fair to Maxspect, they replaced the plastic rotor for free which I appreciated. However, I found that if any calcified material developed around the outside grill it would easily break the delicate internal plastic fins. Also the mechanism that holds the whole thing together just never seemed to fit back together well and the bushings wore out easily (I replaced at least 4 bushings in the 2 years). I was always having to mess around with it to get it to work well. Maybe this has worked well for others but just not for me... and again I know a lot of people like it but Im sticking with the old reliable Ecotech MPs. They are expensive but they are so much more durable. I figured I'd add my experience for what it is worth. On the good side... When it worked the flow was really nice.
