Hello,
I am on a mission to find a LFS locally that
have a decent selection of snails/ hermits crabs?
In desperate need clean ups crews for a 75g and 240g .Really hoping not to break the bank...being that i need alot
I dont know,or ever been to of any LFS in Queens/Brooklyn?
Any recomendations?thanks

Fish town out at Whitestone also has good stock, though you'll have to take a bus.
I usually make a mail order to reeftopia for the amount of snails/crabs/urchins you'll need for those monster tanks. I have/or should have over a hundred, maybe 200 blue leg hermits, ~50 astrea/trochus, dozens of cerith (maybe 50 if they are all still there) and hundreds (less than 1000) of dwarf ceriths in my 75. The bulk of the work is done by 3 small urchins, who can mow down the hair algae for the hermits to get then claws in. The snails do some stuff for the thin layer on glass and such. You'll easily be able to get the free shipping at $150.
