Make a list of what you would like to keep, what you can keep and what you can afford out of pocket and long term. I think this will help you in derterming what light you'll get. Mh's are good but if you can't pay the electric bill or just have softy's in the tank whats the point. Same goes for if you can only afford pc's but want to keep stony corals.

Ohh forgot to add, research what you want to keep off your list and see what they require and then factor that into your budget.

the tank is 72'' what i really want is a soft coral tank with a ritteri anemone and place a couple of stony corals around. so what i should do is make a list of what i would want exactly and single out what they need? so if they need strong light i should go with metal halides?
