Hi,
I was told over the weekend that my corals are probably starving in my tank...
I currently have the following livestock:
1 Leather Coral (shop on Manhattan)
1 Unknown mushroom (sweetsop)
2 Xenia "trees" (sweetsop)
6-7 Clove Polyps (mr member)
many zoa heads
1 GBTA (small)
2 False Perc Clowns
many red and blue legged hermit crabs (sweetsop + PetCo)
5-6 snails (sweetsop)
Brittle stars - unknown number
some worms - uknown number / kind.

Tank has lots of green hair algae and some coraline algae

Feeding:
I feed clowns with frozen spirulina & shrimp mix (shrimp is not mysis, but something smaller). Feeding is increasing to 3-4 times / week.
Corals have only light to feed upon.
Mid-chamber in the back tank has chaeto & probably some misyd shrimps (I remember putting them in, but don't recall seen 'em.

Recent Known Parameters: t= 79 F; Ammo = 0!
So I was told I need to buy phytoplankton, but the guy in Mamaronek does not carry live phyto... and I would want to buy (free is better) some from MR member.

Please PM me if you have some to share and tips on establishing phyto "farm" that will be appreciated.

Generally I can pick-up nearby Grand Central Terminal or lower.
