What size is the tank for one? Two: a clown tang is in the same family as the sohal and really shouldn't be in anything smaller than a 300g for their sake and the sake of the rest of your livestock. At around the 8"-9" mark (about maturity) they can snap and go completely ballistic. I've known them to knock over corals and attack fish even in a 400+gal. They get very large and are an aggressive tang. Three: the Achilles while an awesome looking fish also gets very large and more often than not gets aggressive at adult sizes. When I say they get aggressive I mean more so than most fish, let alone tangs. What kind of fish are you looking for? Something in the same size range as the tang or something in a different direction? |

FYI, Jonathan's tank is 400 gallons. But I agree that a clown tang is likely not the best choice. They get very aggressive.
