help...ichy ich...

help, i think my purple fire fish has ich, it wasn't there last night, but today after coming home from work, i saw 3 white fuzzy spots on it's side, by the belly area. i know pics would help, but it doesn't stay still long enough to do so.

what is the best way to take care of this, i don't want to lose it or others in the tank.

thanks,

sweetsop

Sweet, fuzzy??

if so, doesn't sound like ich, sounds like a fungal if anything.

White specks is more like ich. Pics would greatly help - I know I, for one, shy away from giving advise without seeing what the issue really is.

Try to get some pics up if you can so we can help better.

Even if the spots are gone it does not prove anything. If it was ich it will be back. It has cycles where they fall off the fish and in a few days they will be back with more than the first time. So you better hope it was something else.

Is there anything in your tank that would have "cleaned"it like a scarlet skunk? You should have a list of your livestock somewhere on your profile.
