Ich On My Lineatus Wrasse

Hello Fellow Mr Members... Sadly 2 Say That One Of My Wrasses Has Been A Victim Of An Ich Attack... It Is So Upsetting 2 See This Happening... What Do u Guys Reccomend? I Currently Have Corals In My Tank And Do Know Not 2 Medicate The Tank... Any Suggestions?

If you dont have any inverts, you can try to lower the salinity and raise the temp slowly to speed up the ichs cycle. Also if you can, set up a QT and treat with meds.

he just said he had corals, which would be afected negitivly by the hypo treatment.

the best way to treat would be to remove all fish and keep them in hypo for about 6 weeks, then add them back into the display.

are you sure its ich?


it is easier to collect the corals (duh), inverts & put them in a tank with enough light, using lesser elec. also not stressing the fishy/

hypo the display tank, & keep up with the parameters... oh yeah, read on ich.

Good luck do u have a UV light thats stong on the tank. Just to make sure that when you put the fish back in that you are not dropping them back in to ich filled tank.
