Reefer Ratings: (10) Friends: (4) | misplaced 6 line wrasse
One day (@ a week ago)I noticed that my 6 line wrasse has disapeared, very upset, I couldn't believe it was "gone", it was perfectly happy & healthy. Two days ago I looked into the back compartment of my tank, which is divided into 3 parts, 1. the refugium, 2. heater area, and 3. protein skimmer area. All of a sudden I see the 6 line swimming around in one of the compartments! Happy & excited to know that he/she is alive, I've been trying to catch it, but because the area/space is so tight, I've had a very hard time in doing so. So, I ask if anyone has any good advise about how I should go about catching him/her. Thanks for reading. Sweetsop tank: 30 gal. Finnex cube w/ refugium attached |

Good luck - I had the same problem with my AP24. My Sixline was gone for two months, we were heart broken. One day I was doing a water change and I thought I saw his ghost. My wife and I celebrated. The advise is Isolate him in the chamber. Empty everything you can out of the chamber. Finaly spend the next 45 minutes to an hour with a small net chasing him around the little confined space cursing everytime you think you have him and he slips out because the net wont go flush against the wall hoping he doesn't find a way into the other chambers. |
