You can put a few icecubes in a sealed plastic bag, and hold it near the foot of the anemone until some of it releases. After that, you can carefully peel the foot off.

I would also wear gloves, but I am pretty allergic to their sting.

Take some benadryl(with some food), no sense on getting a rash.

Marinedepot.com sells the long gloves, i think coralife makes them. Not sure where to get the long plastic cattle probing gloves around here.

I definately suggest using gloves. Although i am a firm believer in that it will stay where it is happy. Not a big fan of placing it where we want it. Just be careful that by moving it you don't make it start to wander all over. That would be a disaster. Good luck!

awesome. i seen chromis escape the wrath as well as dominos. i guess most of the damsel/chromis and maybe some anthias species evolved some resistance being so close to stinging polyps of some sort or the other.

Chromis Damsels and clowns are all in the same family of fish Grim. Not too sure about the anthias.
