Ive been having some baby snails growing in my tank. I thought it was cool at first, but now i think it mite be a problem. When the lights go out, they swarm everything. They are all over the glass rocks and everything. Is it necessary to get rid of these guys? HOw do i do so besides manually removing them?

Are they the tiny white ones? I've got them too. They don't harm anything. Not sure what kind they are, but when lights are out, they are in plague proportions. During the day, who the hell knows where they all go, but never even one to be found!

They're not pyramide snails are they Calvin?
It's bad news if you have alot of clams, they sometimes hitch hike w/new clam purchases as I found out.

Small pointed white snails are pyramide snails = bad.
They can reach plague proportions if you're not deligent in removing them everynite which is when they come out.
They can bring down even a healthy clam.
