How do you set a custom avatar?

Well I was just trying and it's not working.
First I resized an Image in paint to be very small.
Second I uploaded it here in the photo gallery
Third I copied the link and pasted it where it says "Custom URL here" or something like that.
Fourth clicked Select this avatar after showing the picture in the little box.
Fifth clicked update my profile.
Then when I check back its blank and my URL is not there any more.

Am I doing something wrong of does the picture need to be linked from somewhere else?

hmmm i tried setting a file from your gallery as an avatar and it didn't work.
are you using this as the link to the image?

Chris I couldn't do it either. Maybe it should be a gif image instead of a jpg.

Try doing that!

Shaun, I just tried the same picture but saved in the GIF format and it's the same problem.

I wonder if it has to be an image saved somewhere besides MR.com??

Hey Chubby is my avatar!!!!! LOL!!

Kris the problem is the capital JPG. It need to be small "jpg".

I uploaded Chubby to my photogallery under:

Fix the picture in your photogallery, delete the old one and let me know when I can change my avatar back.

So many Chubby images on one page. The real Chubby is sitting here, fighting with the mouse.
