How do i kill macro w/o killing anything else?

I have macro algea that has taken 3 of my LR which are of significant size. I have tried to remove them manually but this is impossible...or maybe it is with taking it of stran by stran for 12 hours but thats not an option. Is there something I can spray on it other than weedkiller so i dont harm anything else?

Im guessing this in in your display tank. Since its three rocks i would remove them and spray them with a power/pressure washer. it will kill all life.... but its only 3 rocks, and they would recover in a few weeks.

Strand by strand is how I got rid of it.
Take the time now before it gets all over EVERYTHING

you have a picture of what type of algae? Some fish, crab, etc will get rid of them for you..
