I have noticed that every wrasse that I have acquired lately always has flukes... I treat them twice w prazipro and I'm hoping it will get rid of it all... This has been true for the past yr.. Good thing for qt!!!!!!
Just a heads up on wrasse fish

well these are only when in qt.. I qt deworm, hypo every fish i buy

Believe it or not i can tell on most fish... I pulled out a wrasse yesterday and had a slight opaque spot on him.. sure enough.. pulled him out of the water and the fluke turned white.....

Think its ok to use prazi pro on helfrish's as well.. hope i dont kill them.. I got some nice fish to add to my DT, but not unless they 100%

I've seen them on everyone I purchased from multiple sources.. A mystery wrasse, liunitis (forgive spelling), melinares, mcoster, Scott's ferry, 5 bar, I don't know if flukes love them or what..
I think prazipro plus hypo should b ok.. I would hate to lose any fish..

what proceedure do you use with hyposalinity and prazipro? are you adding prazipro to half strength seawater during quarantine? or are you just using prapipro as directed on some fish and hyposalinity on others depending on symptoms?

I've picked up a butterfly with what I thought was a bacterial infection on the fins, but I scraped a spot off when I noticed it was flapping, turns out it was a fluke.
