I recently switched over from Reef to FOWLR. I have a 180 with about 150 lbs of live rock & the following live stock: 1 Regal Angel 5" 1 Leopard Wrasee 4" 1 Sunburst Anthias 1 Bicolor Anthias 2 Green Chromis 1 Exquisite wrasse 1 Pink Margin wrasse 1 Bellus Angel 4" 1 Solar Fairy wrasse 1 Kole Tang 1 Candy Hog fish as you can see have small fish, I might have missed 2-3 guys but they are relatively small as well. I used to get a ton of skimmate from my BM 200 & was dark, now I seem to get light emeral green & very little. I gave it a vinegar bath & is now not pulling anything. what could I be doing wrong or is this normal for how I have stocked my tank? ![]() |

I have the bm160 and it took a few days to start skimming again after a good cleaning. As a result I really try not to clean the body too much any more. I just rinse it with WC water, clean the pump, and make sure there is no crap on the neck.
