I have sent my vortech back to them, and they fixed it free of charge...you may be out of warrenty, but you can send it back to them and they will fix it at your cost....google ecohtech marine...that should bring up the website, which i think is ecotechmarine.com....from there you will find a form which you can print out and send along with you pump.
i just send ine back today...good luck

Icecap is no longer part of Ecotech. If you have any question or need a service yes go to the site thats posted on the top. Even if your wetside is old they will only charge you 10.00 to get it fixed. Get the Gen2 Magnet thats all you need.

Same thing happened to me, EcoTech charges $9.45 plus shipping for the new gen 2 magnets; you can send the wet ends in or just have them ship you the new ones. Also an easy way to get the gen 2 firmware if no local has it.
