My green BTA split! On one hand it's nicer to have a smaller anemone...on the other I don't want two! :banghead: They're both still on the same rock and I rather hope they stay that way, but I doubt they will. Grr.....Argh!!!! :irked:
Come on over - she's all yours, but how do we get her out of the tank?! I think right now we could probably break the rock they're on - it's a flat slab. We gotta do it before she moves, though!
Inkblue,
I think 12G Nanocube is too small for Anemone. If you are looking for a place for your clown fish to host, get torch or frogspawn. I heard sometime Clownfish host them as well if you are lucky
I think they're pretty much the same in size. One is just all bubbly and the other is all stringy. I fed the anemone very infrequently with solid foods. Peter Mui - who gave it to me - warned me this was a splitter. I think it split 4 times in his tank. So it lives mostly off the light with an occasional treat of something solid. (Once it grabbed and ate a cyclopeeze flake!) Let's see what joseney21 says. I'm home all day tomorrow.
:smokin: Well I have two 26 bows, one Nano and one 20 gal... I could put it in onE of my 'bigger' tanks... i goT a carpet that came with a mated cLown from StingNYC (AWESOME!), MaxPower is giving me a torch so I dunn0 waT else i want... oh yeah... a BIGGER taNk :icon16: :p
AnyBody got a bow taNk they dont nEeD... (addicted to boWs)
Well, Peter, assuming mine keeps splitting you can have one of mine! They're half yours anyway. :tongue1:
Okay, we'll just leave it in there to heal for a week or two. I just hope it doesn't start wandering around in that time!!!! Anyway to force them to stay in one place?
Well, neither anemone has moved! They just sit there, side by side, all bubbly! Sometimes I wonder if they even split at all! Do you think they're all healed up nicely by now?? :scratchch
I was trying to today, but the tentacles just won't move away far enough! I saw one mouth on one side and thought I saw another one on the other...but will have to wait for it to start swinging those tentacles to be sure. :grumpy:
