First on the B-ionic get your levels up to the correct starting point, so for cal get it up to 400+ and alk in the 7-11 range. It's cheapier to use turbo calicum and reef building to do this. Once you have reach the correct levels you want to follow the instructions on the bottle and dose an equal amount of each either every day or every other day. After you dose you need to check and see if the levels stay at the right amount or not. If they do then your dosing correctly, if no then you need to increase the amount that your adding until you have reach the correct daily dose to maintain your levels. Eventually you want to have an equal amount of each being added everyday.Alot of these depends on the size of you tank and the corals that your keeping.

Also if this is a fish only tank you don't need to be worring about cal levels.

As for moving the tank, I assume your moving it to a place that you can set it up right away. You want to get tupperware container, 22gal or 50gal should do but you need to remember you have to be able to pick them up. Fill them up move the fish into them and run either a power head or air pump for water breakage. Then remove the rock and sand and move the tank. At that point move the tank put back the sand and rock and add the water. Set back up your filters and once your happy everything is running well move the fish back. If it's going to take 1 # of days you may want to bring the fish into a store that can hold them for you.

B-ionic comes in a 2 part solution and you can't really just use a formular to cal how much you need to use as a lot depends on the amount of corals and the type that you have in your tank as certain corals will, like sps, use a lot more cal and alk than others. Also you need to take into account the volume of corals per your tank than the actually volume of water. So for instanst you may have a 30gal tank that is loaded with corals so your corals per gallon is much high than someone that has a 100gal tank with less corals in. Because of this you will find that some people have to use alot more B-ionics that other people reguardless of their tanks size and for some it reach to the point where they're using so much B-ionic that it's cheapier to get a cal reactor.
