Looking for a suggestion for a coral to fill up some space in my tank...

The upper middle left side has some bare rock, and I am looking for a nice branching coral that would be only mildly aggressive, colorful, and on the tall-ish side. I'm not thinking of gorgs, but still LPS or softie. Something not as 'soft' though as the Xenia, I'd want a slightly firmer frame to it (confusing i know- just trying to describe what I'm thinking of!).
I'm planning on a nice red or bright green Trachyphyllia Brain for the middle bare section as a centerpiece.
I was also thinking of getting a nice bright red sponge to fill up some space near the back wall, but wanted to know if anyone has had experience keeping sponges before- and how it went. Thanks again!!!
