Anyone ever try this??

Heres a simple mod for a maxijet that I just did in less than 5 mins. I got the idea from a thread on RC(Melev's thread). It kicks the jets up a whole lot and rather than having one single stream it widens out and gets alot stronger.

but what if you have fish inthe tank would the hole in the side be a prob ,

Nope cause the whole is where the flow is coming out. Fish wont get near it .

LoL....i love this thing now!!! All that hard work trying to make the stream and then i see this and it works.

I have a 2nd Nature PH and it looks and works similar to take. There is no spout where the water comes out, on the 2nd Nature, and the water comes out really fast with great flow. Not sure if they make them anymore as I got it from my father tank.

Yup, I also moded one of my mj 1200. Its was pretty easy as you just cut the tube shorter. But I didn't drill the hole like melve did. I might have to try that if it could boost a little more flow from the maxijet.

So Kris, how is the seio stream working out? Did you get it yet?

That seio kicks @$$. I love this thing. Along with the maxijet flow is CRAZYYYY in the tank. Kicks up sand in a few places but its settling
